Leather Jackets

Pictures from Tumblr

I've been wearing my leather jacket so much these past few days since it's not too chilly out to wear a heavy jacket. Their so comfy and add a sense of edge to an outfit. Now that spring is almost here, you can wear them over a floral dress or with shorts. I've been on the hunt for a leather motorcycle jacket but haven't found one that I really like or that isn't too big. Before, I found one at a vintage shop around where I live, but it was way too big for me and the sleeves just went past my hand. Anyhow, I had a fun weekend I managed to spend time with my close friends and relive some fun moments. I didn't get any work done, but I enjoyed myself. And almost forgot about the new episode of The Walking Dead, which I almost missed because I was watching the Oscars. But, I just can't get enough of Zombies. Check out the show, if you haven't. I hope everyone had a fun weekend! Ciao

Zooey & Levitt

Joseph Gordon Levitt reminds me of Justin Nozuka. Probably why, I like both of them. Look up Justin Nozuka if you haven't heard him sing before. He has this nice soulful voice that is amazing. I saw him about three times in NYC in Bowery Ballroom and Terminal 5. Great night, except for wearing heels (atleast I could see.) Me and my cousin ended up dragging ourselves to Penn Station with damaged feet. It was all worth it waiting in line in the cold to get front row, we moved our way through the crowd, thankfully that's where my shortness comes in to squeeze through. :)

Nylon & Ricci

I've been steadly catching up on my reading. By steadly, I mean little by little. It's hard to spend time reading when you have to read a novel for class every week. I subscribe to alot of magazine (magazine junkie) and don't have enough time to read them all, but their's something so special about sitting down on your bed with a cup of coffee reading through issues of your favorite magazines, mine are Teen Vogue, Seventeen, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Rolling Stones, Spin,Glamour, and Nylon. Which are yours?

I know we live in a digital world where you can get everything online, but actually feeling the magazine in your hand and turning the pages is exhilarating to me. This might sound weird but I like the smell of a novel or a magazine that is new. Thats why, when I got the chance to read from front to back September's issue of Nylon with Christina Ricci on the cover I was thrilled. (I still have 5 issues to go to get caught up.) But I was actually suprised to find out that a. She's from New Jersey b. She's 5 foot tall (like me) c. Why haven't I been watching Pan Am?

Anyways, it finally got alittle bit chillier here. Thankfully, I'm not looking foward to the heat that comes around here and I feel like I'm going to pass out. My best friend loves it, she enjoys going out in the blistering heat to get smoothies. I think she enjoys it primarily because she get's to put the top down of her convertible punch buggy and blasting the radio. Reminds me I better get sunglasses and a hat when we go out. Pronto. Ciao

Refinery Editor

Hell-o. So I'm at school at the moment, and had to attend a meeting for my college newspaper only to find that no one was there. Me and another friend searched in the professor's previous room but nothing. No e-mail, no note. I hate when that happens, it's common courtesy to atleast let people know if anything is cancelled. Oh Well. As I was browsing over the Refinery 29 homepage I clicked on their article for "20 Best Outfits Out Editors Wore" and became obsessed with Connie Wang (Global Editor's) Style.
Article & Pictures:

Grr. Have to get started on Math and read a novel for class.  Not looking foward to that. Ciao

Tatoos & Shoes

                                       (Pictures are from Tumblr)

I really like Tatoo's for some reason, maybe it's because I watch alot of NY Ink and LA Ink. I think their so fascinating and captivating. You can tell alot about a person by looking at their tatoo's (sentimental value) because their one of the first things you notice. Although, I like them I don't think I would go too overboard and get a ton because they don't fit me. I can't pull it off, but I do want to get atleast two. One being a music note and the other a quote saying, "Dying is easy, Living is Hard."

These heels are all way too high for me, I would probably end up falling a dozen times over and over again. I commend the woman out there that can pull it off. Not me, definately no. Ciao

I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's Day. I didn't  get to spend time with my boyfriend but I still had a great day with my friends. One of my best friends called me and picked me up to go to her house to help her organize her picnic dinner for her boyfriend. It was really cute. She bought wine, deserts (tons of desert), steak, had a blanket laid out, and had music playing in the background. She even bought him an I-pod that was engraved. My friend Diego was pretty suprised that our friend went to that extreme. (I let him know that she's a total romantic.) Although, she likes to say she's not. I disagree. Afterwards, me and Diego went to my house where we ate and managed to get on time to watch Glee. He left half way when it started because he said I was being too loud. (He said, "I like to Gleek out by myself.") Overall, though I had a pretty fun Valentine's Day. Next Year, an Anti Valentine's Day Get Together! :)

I know, I know the Grammy's already passed this Sunday. But I wanted to show you my favorite dresses at the event. Simplicity, is best. Ciao

To Kill A Mockingbird

Currently reading Harper Lee's only novel for a quiz I have coming up pretty soon today. I've read it before and watched the movie but completely forgot the minor details. I love reading, but not when its assigned novels. Last week I had to read a novel called 'Primary Colors' which was really confusing to understand I had to reread some pages over and over again to get it. I thought my Fiction & Film Studies class wasn't going to be too much of a problem but now finding the time to read is the difficult part. I just realized as I posted these pictures most of them have black. I must really love black because I subconsciously wear it all the time.

I still can't believe this upcoming Sunday I celebrate my two year anniversary and I have not gotten a  gift so far and Valentine's Day is coming. Ah.
